



Conospermum triplinervium
Common name: Tree Smokebush
Conospermum is from the Greek words conos, meaning cone, and spermum, meaning seed. It refers to the shape of the nut. Triplinervium is from the Latin words tripli, meaning triple, and nervius, meaning nerved. It refers to the three prominent veins in the leaves.
Occurs in the south west of Western Australia.
A shrub or small tree to 4.5 metres tall. The greyish white flowers are produced from August to November. From a distance the flowers give the impression of smoke.
