Trifolium dubium

Common name: Suckling Clover

Meaning of name:

Trifolium is from the Latin words tres, meaning three, and folium, meaning leaf. Dubium is from the Latin word dubius, meaning uncertain or doubtful.

Distribution:

Occurs in the south west of Western Australia. Also occurs in south eastern Australia.

Description:

An annual herb with stems up to 50 centimetres long. The yellow flowers are borne from August to November.

Notes:

This species is originally from Europe.
