Trifolium angustifolium

Common name: Narrowleaf Clover

Meaning of name:

Trifolium is from the Latin words tres, meaning three, and folium, meaning leaf. Angustifolium is from the Latin words angusti, meaning narrowed, and folius, meaning leaf.

Distribution:

Occurs in the south west of Western Australia. Also occurs in south eastern Australia.

Description:

A herb to 60 centimetres tall. The pink flowers are produced from September to December.

Notes:

This species is originally from the Mediterranean region.
