The meaning of the name Tribonanthes is from the Greek words tribon, meaning cloak and anthos, meaning flower. Australis is a Latin word meaning southern.

Distribution:

Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia.

Description:

A plant to 40 centimetres tall. The white flowers are produced in August and September.
