




Thysanotus arbuscula
Meaning of name:
Thysanotus is from the Greek word thysanotos, meaning fringed. The Latin word arbuscula means small tree or shrub.
Distribution:
Occurs in western parts of the southwest of Western Australia.
Description:
Erect stems up to 90 centimetres tall. The purple, fringed flowers are held at the end of the stems from September to January.
