Nyssus coloripes

Common name: Orange-legged Swift Spider

Meaning of name:

The meaning of Nyssus is unknown. Coloripes means coloured legs.

Distribution:

Found across Australia.

Description:

Females have a body length up to 10 millimetres, males to 6 millimetres.

Notes:

We have photographed this spider in February and October.
