Stachys arvensis
Common name: Staggerweed
Stachys is a Greek word meaning relating to a flower spike. Arvensis is a Latin word meaning pertaining to fields or cultivated land.
Reported from the southwest of Western Australia. Also occurs in eastern Australia.
An annual herb to 60 centimetres tall with pink to purple flowers from April to October.
This species is originally from Europe.
