



Sparaxis bulbifera
Common name: Sparaxis
Sparaxis is from the Greek word sparasso, meaning to tear. Bulbifera is from the Latin words bulbus, meaning bulb, and fero, to bear.
Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia. Also occurs in south eastern Australia.
A plant to 60 centimetres tall. The cream flowers are produced in September and October.
This species is originally from South Africa.
