



South-western Sandplain Worm Lizard
Scientific name: Aprasia repens
The meaning of Aprasia is not known. Repens is a Latin word meaning creeping.
Mainly reported from the south west of Western Australia.
This legless lizard has a snout-vent length of up to 12 centimetres. It is light brown to light grey above and has a yellow chin and throat.
This species forages through loose soil and leaf litter for small invertebrates.
