Common name: Small Pointed Snail
Unknown.
Reported from southern parts of Australia.
This snail grows a shell to approximately 10 millimetres in length. It colour is variable but usually has a creamy-white background with brown markings.
This snail is native to Europe. It has been introduced to Australia and become a pest species by causing grain contamination. Over summer, they are often found in leaf litter at, or just below, the soil surface and under stones and stumps.
