Siloxerus humifusus
Common name: Procumbent Siloxerus
Siloxerus is from the Greek words stylos, meaning pillar, botanically this refers to the style, and ogceros, meaning swollen. It refers to the swollen base of the style. Humifusis is from the Latin words humi, meaning on or to the ground, and fusus, meaning spread out, referring to a low, spreading habit of growth.
Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia.
An annual herb to 9 centimetres tall. The white flowers are produced from October to February.
