





Senecio vulgaris
Common name: Common Groundsel
Senecio is from the Latin word senex, meaning old man. Vulgaris is Latin for common.
Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia. Also occurs in south eastern Australia.
An annual herb to 75 centimetres tall. The yellow flowers are produced from July to February.
This species is originally from Europe.
