Description:
This wasp was approximately 10 millimetres long.
Notes:
Pseudofoenus wasps are parasitoids of ground-nesting native bees. Females lay their eggs in the nest chambers of native bees. The developing wasp young consumes the pollen ball laid down for the larval bee.
This wasp was seen patrolling the nests of Leioproctus sp. bees.
