Meaning of name:
Podotheca is from the Greek words podos, meaning foot, and thece, meaning box. Gnaphalioides is named after the genus Gnaphalium and the suffix -oides, meaning like.
Distribution:
Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia.
Description:
An annual to 50 centimetres tall. The yellow flower heads are produced in September and October.
