Phlebocarya ciliata
Meaning of name:
Phlebocarya is from the Greek words phlebos, meaning vein, and caryon, meaning nut. Ciliata is from the Latin cilium, meaning eye-lash, botanically it refers to having or fringed with fine hairs.
Distribution:
Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia.
Description:
A tufted plant with thin leaves growing to 65 centimetres long. The cream flowers are produced from September to November.
