




Petrophile linearis
Common name: Pixie Mops
Meaning of name:
Petrophile is from the Greek words petros, meaning rock, and phileo, meaning to love. Linearis is Latin for linear.
Distribution:
Occurs in west-coastal areas of the southwest of Western Australia.
Description:
A shrub to 70 centimetres tall. The pink to mauve flowers are produced from September to November.
