




Pericalymma ellipticum
Common name: Swamp Teatree
Pericalymma is from the Greek words peri, meaning around, about or near, and calymma, meaning a covering, hood or veil. Ellipticum is from the Greek word ellipticos, meaning having the form of an ellipse. Botanically this implies acute, not rounded, ends.
Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia.
An erect shrub up to 1 metre tall. The pink or white flowers are produced from September to December.
Castiarina picta has been seen feeding on the flowers.
