



Pelargonium capitatum
Common name: Rose Pelargonium
Pelargonium is from the Greek word pelargos, meaning stork. Capitatum is from the Latin word capitatus, meaning headed, botanically meaning forming a head.
Occurs in near-coastal areas of the southwest of Western Australia. Also occurs in south eastern Australia.
A straggling shrub to 1 metre tall with soft hairy leaves. The pink or white flowers are produced from July to October.
This species is originally from South Africa.
