Oxalis purpurea
Common name: Largeflower Wood Sorrel
Oxalis is from the Greek word oxaleios, meaning sorrel. Purpurea is from the Latin word purpureus, meaning purple.
Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia. Also occurs in south eastern Australia.
A ground hugging plant. The pink flowers with yellow throats are produced from May to October.
This species is originally from South Africa.
