






Spergula arvensis
Common name: Corn Spurrey
Spergula is from the Latin word spargo, meaning to scatter. Arvensis is a Latin word pertaining to fields or cultivated land.
Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia. Also occurs in south eastern Australia.
An annual herb to 30 centimetres tall with small white flowers from June to November.
This species is originally from Europe and Asia.
