Macarthuria keigheryi

Meaning of name:

Macarthuria honours Sir William Macarthur (1800 – 1882), son of Captain John Macarthur. Sir Macarthur was a horticulturalist and agriculturalist. Keigheryi honours Greg Keigheryi, in recognition of his contributions to Australian botany and the first to recognize this taxon as distinct.

Distribution:

Occurs from Dandaragan to Perth.

Description:

A small shrub to 40 centimetres tall. The hairy stems age to a yellowish-green colour. The white flowers are produced from September to March.
