


Macarthuria australis
Meaning of name:
Macarthuria honours Sir William Macarthur (1800 – 1882), son of Captain John Macarthur. Sir Macarthur was a horticulturalist and agriculturalist. Australis is a Latin word meaning southern.
Distribution:
Occurs in western parts of the south west of Western Australia.
Description:
A multi-stemmed shrub to 60 centimetres tall. The white flowers are produced from May to November.
