Lyginia barbata (female)
Meaning of name:
Lyginia is from the Greek word lyginos, meaning of willow or withy. Barbata is from the Latin word barbatus, meaning bearded.
Distribution:
Occurs in the south west of Western Australia.
Description:
A perennial herb to 70 centimetres tall. Flowers are produced from August to February.
