


Styphelia propinqua
Styphelia is from the Greek word styphelos, meaning tough or harsh, referring to the stiff, prickly leaves. Propinqua is from the Latin word propinquus meaning near, related to or resembling. It refers to an affinity with another species.
Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia.
A shrub to 1 metre tall. The white flowers are borne from February to July.
This species is also known as Leucopogon propinquus.
