Leptomeria empetriformis
Meaning of name:
Leptomeria is from the Greek words leptos, meaning thin or slender, and meros, meaning part (refers to the slender branchlets). Empetriformis is named after the genus Empetrum and the Latin word forma, meaning shape or form.
Distribution:
Occurs in the south west of Western Australia.
Description:
A hemiparasitic shrub to 50 centimetres tall with tiny orange-brown flowers produced from July to November.
