Distribution:

Occurs throughout Australia.

Description:

This butterfly has a wingspan of 25-27 millimetres.

Notes:

Occurs in a wide variety of habitats wherever the larval food plants grow. The caterpillars are known to feed on flower buds and flowers of a variety of native and introduced legumes.

We have photographed this butterfly in February, August and December.
