


Lagenophora huegelii
Lagenophora is from the Greek words lagenos, meaning flagon and phora, meaning bearing. Huegelii honours Carl Alexander Anselm, Baron von Hugel (1796 – 1870), an Austrian traveller and naturalist who visited the Swan River and King George Sound in 1833.
Occurs in the south west of Western Australia. Also found in south eastern Australia.
A herb to 30 centimetres tall. The white or pink flowers are produced from July to December.
