Jacksonia floribunda

Meaning of name:

Jacksonia honours George Jackson (1780 – 1811) a Scottish botanist. Floribunda is from the Latin words flos or floris, meaning flower, and abundus, meaning abounding in.

Distribution:

Occurs from Three Springs to Perth.

Description:

A shrub to 5 metres tall. The yellow to orange and brown flowers are produced from October to February.
