Distribution:

This moth has been found throughout Australia.

Description:

This 2nd instar caterpillar was approximately 20 millimetres long. The adult moth has a wing length (nose to wing tip) of approximately 40 millimetres.

Notes:

We have photographed the caterpillar of this species in September and the adult moth in November.
