Distribution:
This is an introduced species to Australia. It is native to the Palaearctic region.
Description:
From 4 millimetres to 5 millimetres in length with an elongated body. The background colour is orange with variable black markings.
Notes:
This species was first recorded in Australia in Queensland around November 2000 and has since spread widely across the country.
We have seen this beetle in October and November.
