



Haemodorum laxum
Haemodorum is thought to be from the Greek words haima, meaning blood, and doron, meaning gift. Laxum is from the Latin word laxus, meaning wide, loose or open.
Occurs in the south west of Western Australia.
The leaves are approximately 30 centimetres long. The flower spike can be 1.4 metres tall. The black or brown flowers are produced in October and November.
