





Gomphocarpus fruticosus
Common name: Narrowleaf Cottonbush
Gomphocarpus is from the Greek words gomphos, meaning club, and carpos, meaning fruit. Fruticosus is Latin for bushy.
Can be found on moist, disturbed sites across southern and eastern Australia.
This plant grows to 2 metres tall and has white flowers from November to April.
This species is originally from South Africa. It is a declared plant, which means that it is required by law to be controlled.
