Euzosteria lata

Common name: Broad Tortoise Cockroach

Meaning of name:

The meaning of Euzosteria lata is not known.

Distribution:

This cockroach is known from the south-west of Western Australia.

Description:

This cockroach was approximately 30 millimetres long.

Notes:

Euzosteria species are often seen wandering by day in arid conditions. They have been known to spray a pungent fluid at aggressors.

We have seen this cockroach throughout the year.
