Eremaea pauciflora

Meaning of name:

Eremaea is from the Greek word eremaios, a poetic word for solitary. It refers to the flowers being terminal on shoots. Pauciflora is from the Latin words paucus, meaning few or little, and flos or floris, meaning flower.

Distribution:

Occurs in the south west of Western Australia.

Description:

A shrub to 1.5 metres tall with orange flowers produced from September to December.
