Desmocladus flexuosus
Meaning of name:
Desmocladus is from the Greek words desme, meaning a bundle, and cladus, meaning a branch or shoot. Flexuosus is Latin for full of turns. Botanically it is applied to a stem which is zig-zag, changing directions at the nodes.
Distribution:
Occurs in the near-coastal areas of the south west of Western Australia.
Description:
A perennial herb to 1.5 metres tall. Flowers are produced from July to October.
