Cyathochaeta avenacea
Meaning of name:
Cyathochaeta is from the Greek words cyathos, meaning cup, and chaite, meaning long hair. Avenacea refers to the genus Avena.
Distribution:
Occurs in the south west of Western Australia.
Description:
A clumping herb with rigid stems to 1.2 metres tall. Flowers are produced in November and December.
