


Drymaplaneta semivitta
Common name: Western Wood Runner
Meaning of name:
The meaning of Drymaplaneta is not known. Semivitta is from the Latin words semi-, meaning half, and vitta, meaning a band worn on the head.
Distribution:
This cockroach is known from the south-west of Western Australia.
Description:
This cockroach grows up to 25 millimetres long.
Notes:
We have photographed it in December and January.
