Crassula colorata

Common name: Dense Stonecrop

Meaning of name:

Crassula is from the Latin words crassus, meaning thick, and –ula, which refers to the fleshy leaves and branches. Colorata is from the Latin word coloratus, meaning variegated in colour.

Distribution:

Widespread across southern Australia.

Description:

The erect fleshy stems are up to 15 centimetres tall. The green, yellow or red flowers are produced from August to October.
