Cotula turbinata

Meaning of name:

Cotula is a Latin word meaning a small vessel or cup. Turbinata is from the Latin word turbo, meaning a spinning top.

Distribution:

Found from Perth to Albany on sandy soils.

Description:

An annual herb to 40 centimetres tall, producing yellow and white flowers from July to October.

Notes:

This species is originally from South Africa.
