Erigeron canadensis

Common name: Canadian Fleabane

Meaning of name:

The meaning of Erigeron is not known. Canadensis is from the country Canada and the Latin suffix –ensis, meaning native of.

Distribution:

Occurs mainly in the south west of Western Australia and eastern Australia.

Description:

A light green, leafy stem to 1 metre tall. The top is a pyramid of small, white flowers. The flowers are produced in February and March.
