Conostylis juncea

Meaning of name:

Conostylis is from the Greek words conos, meaning cone, and stylos, meaning column, botanically, the style. Juncea is from the Latin word junceus, meaning made of rushes or rush-like.

Distribution:

Occurs from Hill River to Bunbury.

Description:

A tufted plant to 50 centimetres tall. The yellow flowers are produced in September.
