



Drymaplaneta shelfordi
Common name: Shelford’s Wood Runner
Meaning of name:
The meaning of Drymaplaneta is not known. Shelfordi recognises Robert Shelford, who wrote several papers on Australian cockroaches from 1906.
Distribution:
This cockroach is known from the south-west of Western Australia.
Description:
This cockroach was approximately 20 millimetres long.
Notes:
We have photographed this cockroach in January, March and April.
