


Chamaescilla corymbosa
Common name: Blue Squill
Chamaescilla is from the Greek words chamai, meaning on the ground, and scilla, meaning sea-onion or squill. Corymbosa is from the Latin word corymbosus, meaning a cluster of flowers.
Occurs in the south west of Western Australia. Also recorded from the south east of Australia.
Blue flowers held up to 30 centimetres high above a tuft of dark green leaves from August to October.
