Calandrinia corrigioloides

Common name: Strap Purslane

Meaning of name:

Calandrinia is named after Jean Luis Calandrini, a professor of mathematics and botany at Geneva. Corrigioloides is from the genus Corrigiola and the Greek suffix –oides, meaning like.

Distribution:

Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia. Also occurs in western parts of south eastern Australia.

Description:

This plant has pale pink or white flowers on stems up to 30 centimetres long from August to November.
