Melanerythrus mactans
Meaning of name:
Melanerythrus is from the Greek words melanos, meaning black, and erythros, meaning red. The meaning of mactans is not known.
Distribution:
This bug can be found throughout Australia.
Description:
This bug was approximately 10 millimetres long.
Notes:
We have photographed this bug in February.
