




Bromus diandrus
Common name: Great Brome
Bromus is from the Greek word bromos meaning oats. Diandrus is from the Greek words dis, meaning double, and aner or andros, meaning man.
Occurs across southern parts of Australia.
An annual to 90 centimetres tall. Flowers are produced from September to November.
This species is originally from the Mediterranean region.
