Cyanothamnus ramosus subsp. anethifolius

Meaning of name:

Cyanothamnus is from the Greek words cyano, meaning blue, and thamnos, meaning bush or shrub. Ramosa is from the Latin word ramosus, meaning much branched. Anethifolius is from the Latin words anethum, meaning anise, and folius, meaning leafed.

Distribution:

Occurs in the south west of Western Australia.

Description:

A perennial to 30 centimetres tall. The blue flowers are produced from July to October.

Notes:

This species is also known as Boronia ramosa subsp. anethifolia.
