Scaraphites silenus

Unknown.

Distribution:

Found in the south west of Western Australia and Victoria.

Description:

This beetle was approximately 30 millimetres long.

Notes:

These beetles are nocturnal and may live as an adult for a year or more. They eat other beetles.

We have seen this beetle in November and December.
