Description:

This butterfly has a wingspan of up to 47 millimetres.

Notes:

Occurs in a wide variety of natural and modified habitats. The caterpillars are known to feed on Ammobium, Bracteantha, Chrysocephalum, Helichrysum, Gnaphalium, Rhodanthe and Arctotheca species.

We have photographed this butterfly in April and from September to December.
