



Styphelia macrocalyx
Common name: Swan Berry
Styphelia is from the Greek word styphelos, meaning tough or harsh, referring to the stiff, prickly leaves. Macrocalyx comes from the Greek words macros, meaning large or long, and calyx, meaning cup or calyx.
Occurs in scattered locations of the southwest of Western Australia.
A shrub to 1 metre tall. The white flowers are hairy inside and are borne from April to July.
This species is also known as Astroloma macrocalyx.
